Empowering Learning are looking for a Teacher of SEND to work in an impressive SEND Setting in Nottinghamshire. Experience working in a school setting and experience with SEMH pupils is favourable. We are looking for staff who can work across most/all subjects.
Driving and own car are essential due to rural location.
Required Experience:
- QTS or Equivalent
- Taught across class subjects
- Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children
- Have an interest in supporting young people with a variety of SEND
- Have experience supporting children with additional needs
- Be a part of the school team taking part in the wider school environment
- Have an understanding of SEMH and Behavioural Teaching
Job Description:
- Teaching children across a timetable and full curriculum
- Supporting staff/children during lunch and break times
- Managing pupils personalised learning based on their individual need
