MC Technical Recruitment are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Engine Maintenance Technician, to carry out field-based maintenance on a number of large engines based in the Sheffield / Chesterfield area. Our client is an established business within the Power Generation sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Engine Technician to join their team.
As an Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Field based maintenance across multiple sites
- Commissioning, service and repair of large reciprocating engines (Jenbacher, Caterpillar, MWM, etc.) and all ancillary equipment
- Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to at all times
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Experience carrying out maintenance on reciprocating engines, turbines and associated plant (turbos, intercoolers)
- A recognised mechanical apprenticeship (HNC or equivalent) with relevant industry experience
- Sound knowledge of health & safety
- Full UK driving licence
