We are seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team focused on the development of advanced telecommunication payloads, scientific instruments, and space-based sensors. In this role, you’ll be responsible for translating system-level designs into robust, manufacturable printed circuit boards that power mission-critical technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PCB schematics and layouts using industry-leading tools
  • Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to integrate PCB designs into larger architectures
  • Review and validate designs for manufacturability, compliance, and performance
  • Build and maintain component libraries (symbols and footprints)
  • Document design processes and technical decisions for traceability
  • Work with manufacturing partners to ensure timely and high-quality PCB production

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency in PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro and/or Siemens Xpedition
  • Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter (desirable)
  • Solid understanding of circuit design, component selection, and layout best practices
  • Experience in high-speed signal routing and power distribution techniques
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB design and development
