We are seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team focused on the development of advanced telecommunication payloads, scientific instruments, and space-based sensors. In this role, you’ll be responsible for translating system-level designs into robust, manufacturable printed circuit boards that power mission-critical technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCB schematics and layouts using industry-leading tools
- Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to integrate PCB designs into larger architectures
- Review and validate designs for manufacturability, compliance, and performance
- Build and maintain component libraries (symbols and footprints)
- Document design processes and technical decisions for traceability
- Work with manufacturing partners to ensure timely and high-quality PCB production

You are an experienced PCB Design Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for creating reliable hardware for demanding environments. You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting where your work has real-world impact.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro and/or Siemens Xpedition
- Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter (desirable)
- Solid understanding of circuit design, component selection, and layout best practices
- Experience in high-speed signal routing and power distribution techniques
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB design and development
