Our Client:
Innova Search are proudly partnered with a large capital equipment manufacturer who supply, install, maintain and repair specialist capital equipment to some of the largest FMCG companies around the world. The company have been operating for over 100 years and are looking to expand their service offering.
The Role:
The role is based in a dynamic department that handles all things servicing, spare parts and retrofits related. You will be working alongside a number of Field Service Engineers, as well as additional Engineers situated around the globe.
You will have direct responsibility to service (and upgrade where necessary) the capital equipment, which includes swapping out pumps and different types of industrial sized Vacuum s as well as gaskets, seals and rotating equipment. You will be UK based working out of the UK HQ and Manufacturing facility in Manchester, however you will be required to travel worldwide to places such as: Asia, USA and Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults or issues with electrical equipment, including trouble shooting, electrical issues
- Servicing exchanged equipment in house
- Replace or repair worn or defective components as necessary to maintain machine reliability
- Undertaking retrofits and upgrades to existing machines to enhance capability and performance
- Provide on-site and remote support to customers, helping them operate and maintain the equipment effectively
- Generate technical visit reports
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Time served apprenticeship or HND or Degree qualified in a electrical role
- Experience working on PCB, PLC’s and Electrical control systems
- Able to work abroad and willing to travel
- Pre-Assembly experience Assembly drawing knowledge is essential
