A Day in the Life of a CPN:
Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse working within a specialist Drug & Alcohol Team. You'll support individuals in recovery by offering expert assessment, care coordination, and therapeutic interventions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering comprehensive assessments and risk evaluations
- Developing and reviewing individual care plans in collaboration with service users
- Supporting substitute prescribing and recovery-focused interventions
- Working closely with recovery workers and multi-agency teams
- Participating in safeguarding procedures and clinical reviews
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with service requirements
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Current and valid NMC registration and PIN
- Experience working in drug & alcohol/substance misuse services
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care
- Possibility for some hybrid working
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The contract is 3 months ongoing with a strong potential for extension depending on service needs.
