We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Network Engineer to join a critical defence/secure project. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of secure network infrastructure within high-assurance environments.
Key Details:
- Location: Bristol (4 days per week on-site)
- Rate: Competitive on application
- IR35 Status: Inside IR35
- Contract Length: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure (Routers, Switches, Firewalls).
- Implement and optimize Cisco-based LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN solutions.
- Design secure network architectures in line with MOD/Defence standards.
- Conduct network upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and resilience.
Operational Duties:
- Active DV Clearance (mandatory).
- Hands on experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus Switches.
- In-depth knowledge of core protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, HSRP, VRRP.
- Experience with Cisco VPNs.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, etc.).
