Fantastic opportunity to join a long-established Supply Chain Management consultancy driven by a team of industry experts highly committed to achieving customer focussed results. They work on client scenarios right across the supply chain spectrum with integrity, professionalism and consistency. Due to continuing growth, they now seek to further strengthen their consultancy team with a warehouse / Distribution Centre automation design professional.
The job remit will include involvement in a wide range of solutions across varying scales. Projects will range from single area automation to extremely large and highly complex Distribution Centre automation design and integration.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluating clients' individual operational complexities, and designing feasible automated warehouse and distribution solutions tailored to their needs.
- Utilising your previous experience in warehouse / manufacturing / industrial facility design to support the developers, contractors, consultants, fit out contractors and other key stakeholders, as required.
- Produce timely and accurate forecasting of work to be undertaken and high-quality reporting.
- Effective allocation and time management of resources to balance workload with capacity.
- Ensure client communication is proactive - manage their expectations and keep them informed of issues/ progress.
- Effectively manage operational risks across projects, escalating risks where necessary.
- Strong experience of designing automated warehouses or computer aided manufacturing facilities.
- Experience of analysing clients' data and current systems along with evaluating their business needs.
- Highly organised, with the ability to balance conflicting priorities.
- Effective time management and self-discipline.
- Advanced numeracy and literacy skills.
