BASIC SALARY: circa £55,000

LOCATION: Home based and covering the South West of England - south and west of Birmingham - you must live in the area

A classic Area Sales Manager role managing an established sales area and a portfolio of blue chip accounts in the food industry (specifically in the meat, cheese, pet food, bakery, dairy and confectionery markets) with a brief to grow the turnover organically over time. This is a hands-on sales role involving the demo and install of basic equipment plus some involvement in project management.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- You WILL have a proven track record in sales of process or packaging machinery or similar into the food industry.
- Specific experience of food process machinery or of selling into the meat, cheese, pet food and bakery markets would be advantageous.
- You WILL ideally have a technical background and engineering qualifications.
