Despatch Production Operative

Working on a 3 shift rotation pattern as part of an established team, you will be supporting the drive and development of a smooth running Despatch department, reporting directly to the Despatch Team Leaders.

Key role elements involve:

• Operating and maintaining the Strappers, Wrappers and LPD

• Complying with all H+S processes and completing safety checks on all despatch equipment including FLT vehicles

• Marshalling finished and semi-finished goods via the use of scan guns and COBIS

• Marshalling empty pallets both within the warehouse and yard area

• Loading and unloading trailers

• Deciding upon pallet location and stacking techniques within the warehouse and yard area

• Ensuring warehouse flow is maintained and pallets despatched accordingly as per Customer requests

• FLT experience (Preferred but not essential)

• Logical thought process

• Ability to work alone as well as part of a structured team

• Ability to make calculated prompt decisions under pressure

• Flexible and adaptable attitude

• Strong & effective communicator with good people skills

• Keen attention to detail is a necessity
