This is an excellent entry level position into a global yacht management company based in London. You will join as a member of the charter management department who act as central agents for a prestigious fleet of large motor & sailing yachts. The department's objective is to provide a comprehensive, efficient, and informed service to yacht owners, charter brokers and to the captains of the managed yachts, whilst maximising on charter revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative assistance to your allocated Charter Manager/s and to the department.
- Assist with the management of department documents via SharePoint.
- CRM data entry and maintenance relating to yacht and contact records and with an emphasis on the timely logging of charter opportunities/enquiries for the yachts.
- Assist with the creation and editing of marketing materials for the charter central agency yachts, to include yacht presentations and industry updates using PPT/PDF.
- Update details on Yachtfolio - the industry intranet system providing brokers with yacht details, brochures, crew profiles, yacht schedules/availability.
- Prepare Charter Agreements for owner's use of their yachts.
- Book travel arrangements, flights, hotels, car hire etc.
- Collate and manage your Charter Manager(s)' company expenses.
Experience Required:
- The applicant should have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, with a focus on Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.
- Previous experience of CRM (Customer Relationship Management system).
- Adobe Acrobat to produce marketing materials and protect documents.
- DocuSign experience helpful but not essential.
- Excellent typing skills.
- A basic knowledge of other languages such as French, Italian, or Spanish, would be an asset.
- Nautical experience and/or knowledge of marine/yachting terminology helpful but not essential.
- You must have the right to work in the UK to be considered.
