Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting a local client of ours in Westbury who are recruiting a trainee sewing machinist to join the team.
Key Duties:
- Operate and set up sewing machines and other machining equipment to create products according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Monitor own operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
The duties above, you will be fully trained and inducted on so no experience needed just a keen interest to learn.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:30 and Friday 06:00 - 13:30 with an hourly pay of 12.21 whilst training however this will increase once trained.
