Location: Dudley

Shift: Day shift (Monday to Thursday, plus overtime Friday)

Hours: 38-hour week + minimum 4 hours overtime on Friday mornings

Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 per annum + overtime (paid at basic + 1/3)

Join a well-established precision engineering company with a strong reputation in quality and reliability. I’m currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to work on fixed head lathes (including Miyano), using Fanuc controls. The role is mainly focused on setting and operating, with some light programming duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and operate CNC fixed head turning centres (primarily Miyano)
  • Work from engineering drawings to produce components to tight tolerances
  • Make minor program edits and offsets using Fanuc controls
  • Carry out quality checks using standard measuring equipment
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment
  • Support team output and work collaboratively to meet production targets
What We’re Looking For:
  • Solid experience in CNC turning, ideally with Miyano machines
  • Confident with Fanuc controls – able to set, operate and do basic programming/editing
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
