What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading or supporting the delivery of mechanical building services designs from early-stage feasibility through to detailed design and tender submissions.
  • Engaging directly with clients, collaborating with project teams, and bringing a strong technical presence to every stage of the project lifecycle.
  • Developing detailed mechanical designs and complete tender packages.
  • Producing technical specifications, cost reports, and project documentation.
  • Coordinating with design teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Overseeing project delivery across all RIBA stages.
  • Preparing load analysis, zoning strategies, and Builders Work requirements.
  • Inputting to fee proposals and managing project programmes.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and helping to shape the next generation of talent.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • A background in Mechanical Building Services Design (HND/Degree qualified).
