Sheridan Maine is currently partnering with a well-known organisation in Bournemouth to recruit a Temporary Accounts Assistant for an assignment lasting approximately 4–5 months. This is a great opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to support a busy team and gain valuable experience within the business.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Provide timely and effective financial and accounting support to the organisation
- Produce a final settlement of accounts for clients
- Liaising to arrange payments
- Process financial transactions and payments within the finance system
- Support the wider finance function with tasks including accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in internal and external audits by preparing documentation and analysis
- Respond to auditor queries and work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely resolution
Skills and Experience Required:
- Fully or part AAT qualified
- Proficiency in financial systems and software
- Intermediate Excel skills
