We are currently working with a well established business in Northampton who due to expansion and internal promotion are looking to bring an additional skilled and experienced CNC Press Brake Programmer, Setter and Operator for their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close knit well functioning team who can offer a stable work environment for the right individuals.
THE ROLE OF CNC Press Brake Programmer / Setter / Operator
- Work on a recently purchased Bystronic CNC Press Brake
- Read drawings and work instructions and program the machine tool accurately
- Measure angles etc to ensure correct tooling is used
- Folding different sizes of product used primarily in the construction industry
- Checking work post operation to ensure it is correct and to spec
THE RIGHT CNC Press Brake Programmer / Setter / Operator
- Fully skilled on working with a CNC Press Brake
- Able to read engineering drawings and program the machine tool accordingly
- Be able to measure angles etc and program the press brake as required to drawing
- Be able to change tooling in an efficient manner to reduce downtime
