Teach Now are recruiting passionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school located in Harefield, Hillingdon. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone who is driven to support young people with additional needs and thrives in a collaborative educational environment.
You'll work closely with students from Years 7–11, supporting them 1:1 and in small groups, helping them achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for students with a range of SEN needs
- Support students with EHCPs, EAL requirements, and literacy challenges
- Assist teachers in adapting resources and delivering inclusive lessons
- Support behaviour management strategies with empathy and consistency
- Engage in daily reading support and help track student progress
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive and safe learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with SEN or working with children in an educational setting
- Familiarity with EHCPs and differentiated learning (preferred)
- Enthusiastic, patient and committed individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, flexible, and caring approach to supporting students
