We currently have opportunities in the Chesterfield area; this is a temporary but ongoing contract with the possibility of a permanent role for the right person. The position is based at Seymour Link Road, Woodthorpe Rd, Mastin Moor, Chesterfield, S43 3FG. Please make sure you can reliably get to the site before applying.
Pay Rates:
- Day shift £12.21 increasing to £12.36
- Night shift £12.55 increasing to £13.47
Shift times are:
- 10:30 – 19:00 DAY SHIFT with 1 x weekend shift
- 14:00 – 22:30 AFTER SHIFT with 1 x weekend shift
- 20:00 – 04:30 NIGHT SHIFT with 1 x weekend shift
You will be expected to work most Bank Holidays.
As a Warehouse Operative you will be picking prepacked food for well-known High Street retailers whilst working in a chilled environment. You will also be breaking down and allocating goods while achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager. Other duties may include heavy lifting.
The ideal Warehouse Operative will have previous experience working in a warehouse; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate. You will have good attention to detail and must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable. The ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines and being punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance is a must.
