A Warehouse Operative is required by our leading manufacturing client based in High Wycombe. This is a temp to permanent warehouse operative position, with excellent working conditions, an early 12:30pm finish on Fridays, and exceptional benefits.
On a day-to-day basis, the Warehouse Operative will deal with general stores and goods in/out duties, like packing orders, un/loading orders on and off vehicles, checking order quantities, inputting data, cycle counts and work order kitting.
The successful Warehouse Operative will need the following skills and experience:
- A good understanding of MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook
- Experience of working within a stores or warehouse environment
- Forklift Licence preferred
- Confidence and communication skills to share expertise to help others
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative but also be part of a proactive team
- Attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure
- Knowledge of stock control and replenishment systems
- Good numerical skills
- Familiar with and understands general principles and procedures within a stores/warehousing environment
Great working hours, Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4pm, then 7:30am-12:30pm on a Friday.
