You'll be working on:
- Smoke control systems – primarily AOVs (Automatic Opening Vents), as well as more complex pressurisation systems (both positive and negative)
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out remedial works
- Planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts
- Writing clear service and fault reports
- Liaising with clients, site contacts, and internal service coordinators
- Working both independently and occasionally as part of a small team
Who this would suit:
- Someone with solid experience working on smoke ventilation systems (AOVs essential, pressurisation systems a strong bonus)
- Confident with fault-finding, repairs, and small upgrades
- Comfortable managing their own schedule and reporting
- Excellent communication skills – both technical and customer-facing
Required:
- Strong knowledge of AOVs, fans, dampers, control panels, and associated wiring
- Experience with pressurisation systems – or a strong willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence
