My client, a successful and growing food & drink manufacturer, is looking to recruit a production supervisor / Line leader / Team leader / Charge hand for a role they have at their growing site in Taunton. The successful shift supervisor will enjoy being 'hands on' and managing a small team. Reporting into the Production Manager you will be working a Monday - Friday day based 42hr week. The salary will be £28-30K depending on experience and there may be some overtime during busy periods. (Overtime is paid at X1.5)
The successful Production supervisor / Line leader / Charge hand must ideally have:
- Previous production supervisory experience
- Happy working for a growing family business
- Must have previously worked in the food / drink / pharmaceutical manufacturing sector
- Be happy with working 6.30am starts
- Enjoy working in a flexible 'hands on role'
- Have a good understanding of the importance of 'quality' in the production process
- Forklift licence helpful though not essential
