Our client, a well-respected accountancy firm based in Coventry, is currently recruiting for a Senior Payroll Coordinator on a permanent basis. This will be a full-time office based role with a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum. The successful candidate will be joining at an exciting time for the business as they look to expand their Payroll team due to continuing growth and business development.
The ideal candidate will have five years' previous experience in payroll and can offer flexible working hours to fit around someone's life.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Processing end to end payroll for various clients
- Inputting new starters and leavers and inputting contractual changes
- Leading, with the guidance from the Payroll Manager, the management of team members to ensure accurate processing
- Allocating work to the payroll team to ensure client deadlines and budgets are met
- Preparing payroll allocations for self and junior team members and ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Experience required:
- Five years' payroll experience
- Bureau or experience of processing multiple payrolls
- Use of Iris system (desirable)
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Knowledge of legislation and statutory deductions
- Manual calculations
