An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established St Albans law firm, committed to providing exceptional legal services to clients. Their team of dedicated professionals works collaboratively to ensure the highest standards of service in a friendly, supportive and almost paperless environment.
We are looking for a fully qualified candidate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Residential Conveyancing. This busy position will require the post holder to manage at least 70 files at a time and work from initial instruction to exchange and completion. The role will be supported by a Property Paralegal. You will be case management driven and have good client facing skills.
What’s in it for you:
- Salary: £35-50k
- Hours: Monday to Friday 9-6pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Able to handle a caseload of property transactions independently and efficiently
- Manage a high workload (around 70 open matters and around 25 exchange and completions per month)
- Provide expert advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Proactively managing timelines and achieving deadlines
- Drafting official contracts on behalf of clients
- Ensuring post completion is carried out accurately as well as handling client billing
- Working closely with agents and other solicitors
- Supporting and developing junior team members
