Our client in the rail sector is looking to recruit a Production Scheduler. This role is on day shift, Mon-Thurs are 7.15 to 3.15 and Fridays are 7.15 to 12.15. The rate is £26.27/hr plus 16.59% holiday PAYE or £35.74 umbrella. The role is based at the Railway Engineering works with TfL in Acton Town and cannot be done remotely. You must be able to work on site each day.
The main function of the role will be scheduling and planning materials requirements:
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets including collecting data for entry e.g. train records and serial numbers.
- Use of SAP for checking stock and material availability.
- Raise pick lists.
- Raise Production Works orders.
- Despatch orders.
- Enter Timesheet allocations.
- Create shopping carts.
- General admin duties.
- Liaise with other departments for required information on materials and equipment.
- Assist in organising work areas for optimum production flow.
