Compass Point Recruitment, on behalf of a client, is seeking a Production Operative to join their expanding production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing business that values a positive, can-do attitude and motivation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned tasks efficiently, following procedures and safety guidelines to ensure smooth production.
- Learn and understand production processes to provide effective support, especially during staff absences.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards, addressing any defects or issues as needed.
- Handle packaging tasks accurately and operate equipment as required, ensuring products are packaged to meet quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in the pharmaceuticals, food, or chemical industry, with an understanding of hygiene standards.
- HACCP background is advantageous.
- Strong interest in learning and adaptability to various production processes.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
The successful candidate will be naturally curious, interested and invested in the business as there is an opportunity to grow within the company. The hours for this role are 9 am-5 pm, Monday to Friday, with the option to do overtime at points.
