As a Customer Service Administrator, you'll be one of the first people new or potential customers, intermediaries, or brokers speak to. You'll chat with them about their needs, answer their questions, and explain the benefits of different products - all in a friendly, helpful way (no hard selling or giving financial advice). About 20% of your time will be admin-related, and the rest will be focused on providing excellent service.
Day-to-day, you'll:
- Learn about and explain products like ISAs, Bonds, and Mortgages
- Answer calls promptly and professionally
- Send out brochures, application forms, and other helpful info
- Follow up on enquiries and check in with current customers

Experience required: To be successful in this role you'll need to be highly organised with first class customer service and communication skills. The ideal candidate should ideally come from a financial services background (such as pensions, insurance, investments, mortgages etc) or an alternative telephone-based customer service position. You'll need a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, and the ability to learn and easily navigate a variety of internal databases.
