My client is a well known national firm with an outstanding reputation for Conveyancing. Joining this relatively new office set up you will pick up a ready made caseload and be highly motivated for the next challenge in your career.
Typical duties:
- Managing a caseload of residential property matters from inception through to conclusion; including, sales & purchase, re-mortgage, transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership schemes and lease extensions.
- To process cases on a timely and cost-effective basis.
- Liaising directly with clients, estate agents and lenders.
- Developing professional relationships, both with clients and with other potential sources of work.
- Generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
- To manage own work allocation, productivity, and quality of work with minimum supervision.
About the Person:
To be a successful candidate for this role you must also have the following attributes, skills and experience:
- Hold a relevant qualification (i.e., solicitor, CILEx, CLC) or have experience of managing your own caseload.
- Recent practical experience of working in the legal profession.
- Proven track record in Conveyancing client case management and fee earning.
- Be organised and process driven.
- Be commercially astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact to the practice.
- Have a commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care.
- Be IT literate with experience of using a web-based case management system.
- Recent experience of handling client enquiries both face to face and by telephone.
