This £16m T/O engineering firm specialise in producing unique mechanisms and assemblies for the civil engineering and construction sector. New owners have recently acquired it with a clear plan to grow their operations substantially with the appointment of a new Production Engineering Manager.

You'll be responsible for engineering including prototype development, supply chain, procurement of new plant, formulation of new processes, quality, health & safety and inventory.

You'll need a proven background in driving change, expanding engineering and manufacturing capacity, preferably within a mechanical engineering environment. A technical qualification in mechanical or production engineering is preferred, combined with strong people and change management skills.
