We are seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join a Professional Services department, helping to steer tax compliance and advisory services for a broad range of clients. The perfect candidate will have a solid grounding in corporate tax computations and be adept at managing multiple clients.
Our client is a medium-sized professional services firm based in Sevenoaks, renowned for its dedication to delivering exceptional client service. Specialising in tax, accounting and business advisory, they work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
- Produce complicated letters for clients.
- Identify tax planning and cross selling opportunities to pass on or deal with directly.
- Assist with the coaching and development of junior staff.
- Billing and WIP management.
- Management of filing deadlines.
- Work closely with partners and other team members to efficiently deliver high-quality tax work.
- Contribute to the firm's business development activities.
- Stay updated with changes in tax law and communicate these effectively to clients.
A successful Corporate Tax Assistant Manager should have:
- ATT/ACCA qualified with eagerness to pursue CTA.
- Good understanding of income tax, capital gains tax, national insurance & PAYE, pension planning, corporation tax and business tax.
- Basic understanding of inheritance tax and VAT.
- Able to deal with HMRC tax enquiries with tax manager's supervision.
- Able to research when personal knowledge or understanding is lacking and ask questions where required.
£40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
Hybrid working.
Based from pleasant central Sevenoaks office.
