A Head of Clinical Negligence is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a regional Legal 500 law firm based in York. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
My client is an award winning, multi office firm with an excellent reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to head up the expanding Medical Negligence department. As Head of Clinical Negligence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the department's future. You will manage a team of 8, alongside overseeing a varied and high-value caseload. You will lead with a passion for justice, have a strong strategic vision, and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional client care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Clinical Negligence department.
- Manage and supervise a team of experienced solicitors and legal professionals.
- Maintain and develop a complex caseload of serious clinical negligence matters.
- Support business development and marketing initiatives to grow the department.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural standards.
What Weβre Looking For:
To be successful for this role you will have at least 10 years PQE in Clinical Negligence and have experience managing high-value and complex cases. You will have proven leadership and team management skills, in addition to exceptional leadership, communication and business development capabilities. Panel membership (AvMA or Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation) is desirable but not essential.
