We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers for a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with a respected local client in Portsmouth, Havant.
Pay: £16.50 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. No weekends or bank holidays - enjoy a great work-life balance!
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving a Class 2 refuse truck as part of a supportive waste collection team
- Navigating routes between domestic and commercial customers
- Assisting with loading waste at collection points
- Emptying the vehicle at the depot
- Delivering top-notch customer service and following health & safety procedures at all times
What we need from you:
- A valid Class C (HGV Class 2) Licence, Driver CPC, and Digi Tacho Card
- Physically fit and able to assist with the loading when needed
- A strong team player who takes pride in their work
- Ability to pass a driving assessment before starting
