Residential Plot Conveyancer
Permanent Full Time role, 5 days per week
Salary up to £30k per annum

Medlock Partners are partnering with a well-respected law firm based in Leeds who are looking to hire a residential plot conveyancer to join their busy and fast-paced team. The successful person will have previous plot conveyancing experience with the ability to communicate at all levels and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key responsibilities of the Residential Plot Conveyancer:
- Handling a high-volume caseload of residential plot sales from initial instruction through to completion
- Drafting and issuing contracts and supporting documentation to developers and purchasers’ solicitors
- Managing the exchange and completion process, including issuing completion statements and dealing with post-completion matters
- Liaising with developers, estate agents, and clients to provide updates and resolve queries
- Ensuring all transactions are compliant with current legislation and internal policies
- Assisting with maintaining and updating standard documentation and process improvements
- Working closely with the wider property team to ensure smooth handovers and streamlined processes
- Handling correspondence and documentation with professionalism and accuracy
- Keeping systems updated with progress and key deadlines throughout the transaction lifecycle
Key requirements for the Residential Plot Conveyancer:
- Proven experience in residential conveyancing, ideally with exposure to plot sales or new build transactions
- Exceptional attention to detail – you’re the kind of person who spots the typo in a contract at a glance
- Strong communication skills – confident dealing with clients, developers, and other legal professionals
- Ability to manage a busy, high-volume caseload efficiently and with minimal supervision
- Solid understanding of conveyancing processes, legal compliance, and relevant legislation
