Our client based in Erith is looking for experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. Working for a logistic company, you will be making deliveries and collections so you should have good knowledge of London and surrounding areas. A good level of customer service is required to liaise with customers and complete paperwork. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be personable, professional and able to create a rapport with customers and colleagues.
Candidate Requirements:
- Full responsibility for your vehicle whilst representing the company and brand to the highest possible standards.
- Driving and complying with all road and vehicle legislation as well as maintaining vehicle checks, tachograph and WTD.
- Resolve any customer questions or concerns as they may arise.
- Must hold a valid, preferably clean and in date Class 2 licence.
- First class communication and customer service skills.
- Must have full Drivers CPC and Digi Taco card.
- Excellent attention to detail and work ethic.
- Must have a good degree of physical fitness as manual handling is required for loading/unloading vehicle.
- Must have a minimum of four years’ experience, at least 1 year of this working in the UK and you should have current experience in a similar role.
Salary: £39K
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, one in five Saturdays worked, paid at x1.5 overtime rate.
Benefits: 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, workplace pension, permanent position, immediate start available.
