About The Role: Our client, a large, global architectural practice is seeking a diligent and commercially-minded Bid Lead to join their team in London. The successful candidate will work closely with the BD Director and Head of Marketing but will be expected to take the lead in focal bids in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment and will want to expand on their existing skillset within a company whose ground-breaking projects set them apart from the rest. This is a great opportunity to join one of the global leaders in architecture and design, where you will play a pivotal role within the company, working closely with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the bid processes, timescales and strategies
- Plan the fundamental requirements of the bid process
- Identify risks and act upon them by implementing the responses to the issues
- Manage bid communications with internal/external stakeholders at all levels
- Forecast and identify bid strategies with the BD Director
- Sustain and manage monthly bid reports
- Work closely with global teams, leading workshops, and coaching partners through presentation processes
- Create study materials with effective use of graphics, images, and references
- Maintaining and optimising resources to deliver a better return on investment
- Compile and collect information and present this in a meaningful and concise manner
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Previous experience within bid management within architectural/design/build environment
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and InDesign
- Excellent command of written and verbal communications
- Excellent graphic design and presentation skills
- Meticulous in your approach with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Confident at communicating at all levels
- Commercially and strategically aware
