Dementia is the biggest health and social care challenge of our time. Alzheimer’s Society is committed to supporting people with dementia who face some of the hardest and most frightening times in their lives. It is the only dementia charity giving vital support to people who need it, while also funding groundbreaking research and campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be. We have made significant progress, and strong foundations are in place to enable another leap forward in achieving our goals.
We are looking for an outstanding leader to be our new Chief Executive. You will share our vision for change and be determined to make a lasting impact for people with dementia. You will be a highly experienced, visionary leader able to deliver impact and grow our thriving, high-performing organisation. We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, balancing both the organisational leadership requirements, the credibility to grow our influence further and the experience of the health, research and care ecosystems that will ensure better outcomes for those living with dementia.
