The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

To provide either individually, or as a member of a team a comprehensive service maintaining public parks, open spaces, landscaped areas, sports fields and cemeteries. To contribute to the operational delivery of Grounds Maintenance objectives and ensure delivery of scheduled programme of works.

To also undertake constructional labouring within building maintenance such as excavate and fill trench lines, installation and laying of slabbing and block work, assisting trade staff, clearances of properties, manual handling and driving duties.

Preferably qualified to a SVQ Level 2 in Amenity Horticulture or equivalent in a related activity. Formal qualifications such as PA 1 and PA 6 and N.P.T.C chainsaw qualifications would be desirable. Class B driving licence is essential. Competence to use and operate associated plant, vehicles and equipment is essential.

These posts are temporary until March 2026 due to service requirement.
