Staffline are delighted to be recruiting for a focused, motivated and confident individual, based in Fivemiletown; to identify and develop new business opportunities, in conjunction with the field sales teams, using lead generation prospecting tools.

Hours Of Work: 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday

Salary: Depending on experience

Key Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Internal Sales and Business Development Manager.
  • Analyse tender enquiries received, identify opportunities and submit pricing for products.
  • Add data to our CRM system, along with data on behalf of the sales and specification teams in their assigned areas.
  • Provide support to these teams on a regular basis and maintain constant contact during the week.
  • Identify potential leads for the sales & specification team using a variety of sources, while contacting relevant professionals such as Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and other key decision makers.
  • Ensure the data added to the CRM system is of high quality, kept up to date and meets the company's requirements.
  • Identify and submit pricing for key products from tender enquiries received, bill of quantities (BOQs) and working drawings.
  • Submit pricing using formal quotes and respond to enquiries within set deadlines.
  • Provide daily direct support to the external sales teams & liaise with Heads of Sales and Regional Sales Managers as required.
  • Organise sample requests in a professional manner for specifiers, contractors and stockist customers.
  • Any other duties and tasks commensurate with the role and/or as required by your Manager and within capabilities.

Who We’re Looking For:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above (including Maths and English).
  • Minimum 1 year’s administration experience in a busy sales office.
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in using a CRM system.
  • Proficient in MS Office with a good working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent telephone manner with objection handling skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to recognise commercial opportunities and develop new business.
  • Well organised, systematic and enjoys the challenge of sales.
  • Enthusiastic, confident and have a desire to succeed.
  • Works well on own initiative.
  • Team worker who collaborates with other departments and external colleagues.
  • Professionally presented, smart business attire.
  • Ability to travel to and from work areas as and when required.

Desirable:

  • Experience of generating business opportunities.
  • Experience of dealing with Architects and Engineers.
  • A third level qualification in a business-related discipline.
  • A knowledge of the construction industry would greatly assist this role.
