About the Role

Our client, an award-winning independent estate agency, is seeking a talented and ambitious Sales Manager to join their growing team. You will take ownership of your branch’s sales performance, lead from the front, and play a key role in business generation through valuations, marketing, and client engagement. This is an ideal opportunity for a high-performing Senior Negotiator, Lister or Valuer looking to step up into a management position, or an experienced Sales Manager seeking a fresh challenge in a company that values innovation, autonomy and long-term ambition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market appraisals and win new instructions through excellent client service and local market knowledge.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process from listing to completion, working closely with buyers, sellers, and solicitors.
  • Lead, motivate and mentor a small team, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
  • Drive business development activity and grow market share through canvassing, prospecting and building local relationships.
  • Monitor KPIs, pipeline and financial performance, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Uphold the highest standards of compliance, customer service, and brand reputation.
  • Collaborate closely with the lettings team where applicable to ensure cross-selling and client retention.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a Senior Negotiator, Valuer or Sales Manager role within estate agency.
  • A proven track record of consistently hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong business generation skills and confident in conducting valuations and winning instructions.
  • Clear communicator with excellent negotiation and client-facing skills.
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
  • A natural leader, capable of motivating and inspiring others.
  • Knowledge of the local property market highly advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
