At E-ppl, we are on the lookout for a hands-on, detail-obsessed Quality Inspector to join our customer's talented team. This is a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the most bespoke and classic vehicles on the planet. MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect custom automotive parts, assemblies, and full vehicles for fit, finish, and function.
  • Check incoming parts before they hit the workshop and ensure they're up to spec.
  • Confirm that modified parts on base models meet our quality standards.
  • Sign off on repairs and help keep everything up to the customer's premium level.
  • Collaborate with our Classic and Coach build teams to keep the vehicles looking their best.
  • Record inspection results and report any issues you find.
  • Log problems into systems and help follow them through to resolution.
  • Work closely with operations and logistics to fix things fast and properly.
  • Share regular updates with the Quality Manager and other teams.

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production quality role (luxury or bespoke would be a big plus).
  • A keen eye for detail - you catch what others miss.
  • A strong communicator and team player who thrives under pressure.
  • Familiar with vehicle trim, build processes, and technical specs.
  • NVQ Level 3 or similar in a technical subject.
  • Time served mechanical experience.
  • Bodyshop / paint / crash repairs (problem solving skills).
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
  • Know how to read audit standards and spot defects like a pro.
  • Full UK driving licence required.

Benefits:

  • Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm.
  • Salary is £21.50 per hour.
  • Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35.
