We are looking for an Electrical Project Delivery Manager to work on a permanent basis for a global engineering company based in Wigan. The Electrical Project Delivery Manager will have strong leadership, project management, and electro-technical skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The salary is £56,760 per annum plus 26 days' holiday and bank holidays, excellent pension, company bonus, healthcare, large company discounts etc. The role is working days Monday to Friday 36.5 hours per week.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead the estimating, engineering, and project coordination functions and resources.
- Ensure quotations and designs of projects align with internal planning, production, and quality processes to meet customer requirements and satisfaction.
- Promote learning and development for yourself and your team.
Skills/Experience:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, motivate, and engage others to contribute to specific and common goals within the department.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers and stakeholders to achieve mutual goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and other digital applications to organize and achieve planned goals.
- Logical thought processes to create innovative solutions with an engineering bias.
Experience Required:
- Technical and electrical knowledge relating to the application of electrical products, including low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies and integrated systems.
- Project management requirements for the successful delivery of electrical products.
- Understanding of product and industry-related standards, codes of practice, and associated engineering practices.
