The Territory Sales Manager (Eastern Europe) is responsible for managing both Marine and Non-Marine business within their assigned territory customers, including the development and implementation of sales plans, revenue generation, customer and consumer service and day-to-day sales operations. Essential Functions Include:
- Develops and executes both a short term and medium-term strategy for growing sales revenues and share of wallet (SOW) from new and existing key partnerships in the assigned area.
- Has significant authority to negotiate pricing and product terms and conditions.
- Locates, evaluates and appoints potential partners and establishes long lasting professional working relationships at senior/board level within new and existing accounts in the designated area via regular travel throughout assigned territories.
- Develops and maintains strong technical awareness of the use and application of products, as well as a strong understanding of our competitors' products and their features and performance characteristics.
- Studies the market for new trends and feeds market information back to the Sales Management and relevant Category Business team.
- Represents at the most relevant trade fairs for the sector and area of interests.
Required Experience/Skills:
- 5+ years as an International Territory Manager/Account Manager in the Marine industry.
- Ability to think strategically, but to also drive results through personal execution.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills in English with the ability to speak effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Passion for technical products and the Marine industry.
- Ability to speak an Eastern European Language would be desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Business or Engineering.
Working Conditions:
- Substantial travel to customer locations in Europe throughout the year for business meetings, joint customer visits, boat shows, trade events and training, sometimes at relatively short notice.
- Expectation to be present in local office a minimum of 3 days per week when not traveling.
- Role can be based in either Bangor NI or Southampton Offices.
