Your key areas of responsibility would be:
- Designing and building advanced Salesforce solutions.
- Utilise declarative functionality (flows, approvals, assignment rules, formula fields, custom fields, record types and page layouts, plug-ins from the AppExchange) to implement system enhancements to meet the evolving needs of the company.
- Work with 3rd party and internal development teams to implement custom/bespoke functionality.
- Continue professional development of Salesforce certifications and skills.
- Undertake knowledge transfer of new functionality to senior managers for cascading to all relevant users.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Building and maintenance of reporting and dashboard suites.
- Working closely with key stakeholders throughout the business to understand requirements, design and build solutions; working with third-party developers when required.
- Act as an escalation point for the wider team for second line support questions.
- Undertake transfer of knowledge to a select group of users who require admin permissions across the business.
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
- Delivering the full life cycle of projects from requirement gathering, design, test and delivery.
- Based on a solid understanding of the needs of all the company’s user groups, bring suggestions for system improvements and developments to Salesforce business lead, National Managers and Executive Board.
- Undertake full implementation of system developments involving declarative functionality: assignment rules, workflows & approvals, custom fields, page layouts and plugins from AppExchange.
- Undertake custom development of functionality on the Force.com platform.
- Work closely with end users to understand areas for development and to support their use of the Salesforce platform.
This role will involve some national travel.
Qualifications:
- ADM 201 certified.
- Platform App Builder.
- Experience in Mulesoft and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) would be beneficial but not essential.
