IT / EPOS Installation Engineer Concept are recruiting for experienced EPoS / IT Installation Engineers in Gloucester / Cirencester, Bournemouth and South London (Ideally inside the M25 corridor) £170 per day | 6 month contract starting January 2025 The successful engineers will be installing service EPOS kiosks into several leading fast food restaurants within their regionalised area What’s on offer? Brilliant opportunity to work with a leading IT services organisation Fantastic training provided on the most advanced equipment in the industry – 1 week classroom (may be away from home) 1 week shadowing out in the field Expenses claimable back weekly Long term contract opportunity What are the rates? The successful candidates will be paid up to £170 per day on outside IR35 contracts Engineers may also be on retention as per of their role – retention rates paid at £100 per day Night work, weekends and bank holidays on offer – rates will be discussed separately Overtime claimable after 10 hours per day (8 hours on site, 1 hour either side for travel) Mileage claimable after 75 miles per day at 30ppm, parking bridge and tolls etc claimable back weekly on expenses Overnight stays may be required where an engineer needs to work out of area which is expected as part of the role What are we looking for? Experienced IT field engineers with experience of installing EPOS equipment / self service kiosks Happy to consider engineers from other industries such as vending or coffee, however MUST have installation experience and hands on Engineers must have their own reliable vehicle with business insurance and valid MOT – proof must be provided Engineers must have a smart phone they can use to complete sign offs An SDS Drill and impact driver are required for the project and candidates must be comfortable using Engineers need to be able to terminate cables, and comfortable getting hands dirty / drilling into flooring Able to pass BS7858 vetting level 4 (Inc of Scottish Disclosure and Credit check)Working Hours Shift patterns will vary and flexibility is key for this role – engineers will be required to work weekdays, weekends, nights and bank holidays on occasions Rates are based on a 10 hour day (8 hours on site, 1 hour either side for travel) further information on weekends / bank holidays etc will be shared separately Sites Per Day – no restriction of number of sites per day Consistency of work – 5 days per week, cannot guarantee 5 days on site. Engineers will be required to be on standby on occasions. Expectation is at least 3 days of work per week with 2 days of standby, however could be more / less Candidates will be required to work busy periods, including weekends and bank holidays This role has been assessed and deemed an outside IR35 role The above rates are subject to deductions Please click apply if you are interested and the team will be in touch
