Join Wattie’s Kraft Heinz at our Tomoana manufacturing site as an operational HR Advisor and help shape the future. With a new SLT, this is an opportunity to make a real difference in the way HR operations are run on-site. As an HR Advisor at Tomoana Site, you’ll play a vital role in providing frontline HR support to our employees. Working closely with team leaders, employees, and managers, you'll ensure the smooth delivery of day-to-day people operations while driving best practices in employee engagement, compliance, and performance.
Key position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Advise on employment relations matters and assist with investigations
- Coordinate training and development initiatives
- Monitor HR compliance and ensure documentation is up to date
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and employee experience
- Support site engagement initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture
- Support HRBP with routines, employee engagement surveys, and COE initiatives
- Collaborate on HR employment matters, promote performance feedback culture, and support performance appraisals and leadership coaching
- Provide proactive HR support to leaders and staff on site
- Support internal recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
About you:
- Currently working as an HR advisor preferably in a manufacturing or industries similar to FMCG
- Experience in highly unionised organisations will be highly regarded
- Experience in an organization with blue- and white-collar environments is a must to be successful in this role
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proficient in HR software (Workday desirable) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and strong problem-solving skills
