We're working with a well-established environmental compliance consultancy that supports a wide range of clients across the social housing sector. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they're now seeking a Contracts & Operations Team Lead to oversee service delivery, team performance and client relationships.

About the Role:

You’ll lead the operational function, ensuring all works are planned and delivered efficiently, KPIs are achieved, and service standards are consistently met. Acting as the main point of contact for operational issues, you’ll play a key role in both internal coordination and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and develop a high-performing operations team.
  • Oversee the day-to-day coordination of works, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Manage logistics, appointments and schedules for multiple compliance projects.
  • Act as the primary contact for client queries and operational matters.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance targets, ensuring standards are consistently exceeded.
  • Attend client meetings to understand their needs and translate into action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practice - particularly in the social housing and asbestos sectors.
  • Take ownership of operational challenges, enabling your team to focus on delivery and senior staff to focus on strategy.

What will you need to be considered?

  • Proven experience in contracts management or team leadership role, preferably within the social housing/compliance/consultancy sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a team in a busy, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Experience in a customer-focused, operational environment (e.g. managing multiple service projects or contracts).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate with clients, senior staff and your team.
