We are looking for a Supplier Onboarding Manager to lead and optimise the end-to-end onboarding process for new sellers joining our Marketplace. This role ensures that vendors are successfully onboarded, compliant with platform standards, and fully equipped to trade. You will be responsible for guiding suppliers through all onboarding steps — from documentation and compliance checks to platform setup and operational readiness. You will also work closely with tech, commercial, legal, and operations teams to streamline processes, reduce onboarding time, and improve the vendor experience. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that requires attention to detail, strong coordination skills, and a continuous improvement mindset. You will play a vital part in building the foundation that enables Marketplace growth at scale.

The Role:

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring a smooth transition onto the marketplace.
  • Develop and maintain onboarding guidelines, checklists, and training materials.
  • Act as the main point of contact for new suppliers, providing guidance on platform functionality and operational steps.
  • Compliance & Documentation Management
  • Ensure all vendors meet marketplace requirements: product data accuracy, pricing compliance, and operational standards.
  • Collect and verify necessary legal, financial, and compliance documents.
  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts are processed correctly.
  • Process Optimisation & Automation
    • Identify bottlenecks in the onboarding process and implement efficiency improvements.
    • Collaborate with tech and operations to automate onboarding where possible.
    • Continuously improve the process based on feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Partner with Sales Acquisition Managers to ensure seamless handover from deal to onboarding.
    • Coordinate with customer support and operations to resolve onboarding issues and supplier queries.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting
    • Identify onboarding pain points and provide actionable insights.
    • Share regular reporting to support internal visibility and process improvements.

Location: This role is based in London (or Nuneaton), and is required to travel to our Nuneaton Hub (or London) and occasionally to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the offices.

    The Person:

    • Experience in vendor onboarding, partner operations, or similar cross-functional coordination roles.
    • Strong understanding of e-commerce or marketplace environments.
    • High attention to detail, with a process-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to work across departments including legal, tech, operations, and commercial.
    • Familiarity with managing documentation, compliance, and internal workflows.
    • Strong communication and organisational skills.
    • Proactive, hands-on, and able to manage multiple onboarding streams simultaneously.
    • Comfortable using data to drive improvements and report on performance.

    • H&B Employee Discount - 25%.
    • Bonus.
    • Pension company contribution.
    • 33 Days Holiday per year (Inclusive of bank holidays).
    • Private Medical Care.
    • Exclusive benefits, free advice and savings from a range of retailers and providers.
    • Electric Car Scheme.
