Opportunity for an HGV Technician to join a thriving, ever-growing and financially stable Company!

Location: Barrowby / Grantham Lincolnshire

Salary: £45,000.00 plus overtime at 1.5 and the opportunity for call out / standby to site if you want to join but not essential.

Hours of work: 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday Alternating Split Shifts - rotating weekly of earlies and lates

My client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced HGV Technician to join one of their Workshops in Lincolnshire area. As an HGV Technician, your role is to keep customers' vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance.

Job role:

  • Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles
  • Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes
  • Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust
  • Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles
  • Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled
  • Providing repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies
  • Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management

This role will be a great fit for you if:

  • Industry qualifications achieved to a minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or mechanical engineering (all modules completed)
  • Heavy Vehicle Qualification
  • Previous working experience as an HGV technician with a strong technical background
  • You are confident using technology
