The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to take a lead role in the design and delivery of highways technology installation and maintenance projects. You will take control of projects from the conception through handover and any ongoing maintenance, ensuring that all projects are controlled and completed on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of Project Management within the Highways Technology/Smart Motorway industry and a strong understanding of health and safety practices on high speed road networks.
Skills and Experience:
- A strong background in the highways industry, ideally dealing with technology (NRTS, RTMC, TPMS, HADECS, VMS, ANPR, etc.)
- Solid experience and knowledge of project management methodologies (APMP, Prince2)
- Relevant knowledge of technology maintenance, design, development and delivery
- Experienced in delivering projects in accordance with CDM requirements
- Relevant qualifications such as IOSH/SMSTS, SSTMS, CSCS
- Full drivers licence
