Falkirk Council is leading on a number of ambitious and nationally significant investment programmes through its Investment, Assets and Climate Division. The Division leads on an extensive range of investment and asset focused programmes including the Falkirk and Grangemouth Growth Deal, Forth Green Freeport, Tax Increment Finance, Corporate Property Modernisation, Energy and Climate Change, and Learning Estate Development.
As part of the Council's modernisation agenda, we are establishing a category focused approach to the management of our assets and a Property Corporate Landlord. This new post has been created to play a leading and strategic role in the management of the Council's assets and lead on its Climate Change ambitions.
Reporting direct to the Head of Service, we are now seeking a dynamic individual to lead on the Council's Corporate Asset Management and Climate Change activities. The post will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and investment programmes focused on asset management and specifically property assets.
The role is expected to work collaboratively with services, relevant external agencies, and key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the Council's asset management performance aims and objectives.
