Trinity College Catering Department is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to work within the various sections of the Catering Department and assist with Catering events as necessary. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a stimulating environment communicating with members of the College and external clients.
The post holder, alongside other permanent and casual Catering staff, will help deliver an efficient, timely and professional service of food and drink to members and guests of the College. The post holder must ensure the highest possible standard of food service and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar role. They must be able to demonstrate that they are able to work effectively in a team and to work flexibly. As this is a front-of-house post, the post holder is expected to be smart and well-presented. Candidates must also hold a certificate in Basic Food Hygiene and basic Health and Safety.
This is a permanent full-time role (typically 37.5 hours per week on a shift rota) with a salary of £25,665 per annum plus a shift allowance of £3,079 (total £28,744) plus a generous benefits package which includes:
