Are you a maintenance engineer looking for a different challenge? Would you enjoy being on different client sites, resolving issues weekly? Maybe you are a field service maintenance engineer who would like to work with an OEM maintaining highly automated solutions within the food industry? Covering sites from Preston to the south of England, you will be the face of the business, ensuring the equipment's warranty is observed, coaching, training, and developing your clients' maintenance teams, as well as providing root cause analysis to the wider team to help ensure the best quality is upheld at all times.

The role of a Field Service Engineer:

  • Provide timely and professional technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain automation equipment.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance and perform necessary updates and upgrades.
  • Document and track customer interactions, solutions, and support activities in a CRM system.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of support processes and documentation.
